Laborers of His Harvest
Whatever happened to Evangelism? The theme for Rivers of Living Water 2013 is "Laborers of His Harvest". In the gospel as recorded by Luke the tenth chapter and the second verse, Jesus said that the harvest is truly great but the laborers are few. In looking at the mulitude of people without a real relationship with Christ, whether on our jobs, in our own familes, in our neighborhoods, not to mention the strangers we cross paths with in the malls, ballgames, grocery stores, there are countless men, women, boys and girls that are part of the harvest. With the harvest being so plentious, there are not enough laborers to bring in the harvest. In John 4:35, Jesus said to "Look" on the fields for they are white already to harvest. With the harvest ready and not enough laborers Jesus said to pray that the Lord of harvest would send forth laborers into the harvest. Are you willing to be a "Laborer of His Harvest."
